[잠언 4:27]"중간이 아닌 중심"
좌로나 우로나 치우치지 말고 네 발을 악에서 떠나게 하라

너무도 잘아는 말씀이라 지나치고
묵상해도 길을 못찾고 흘려보내야 할때가 있는데 하나님은 그걸 놓치지 않게 붙들어 주시네요.
주일 부흥회 강사님을 통해 흘러가듯 들려주신 말씀이 오늘 본문을 명확하게 풀어주셨습니다.
"신앙은 중간이 아닌 "중심"이다." 즉 좌로나 우로 치우치지 않기 위해 중간에 어정쩡한 상태가 아닌 하나님을 중심이 모신 삶을 살아야 한다는 뜻이 됩니다.
하나님을 중심에 모신 삶은, 말씀대로 살기위해 믿음으로 도전하고, 실패 할땐 인내로서 기도하며, 흔들리지만 넘어지지 않으며, 잘못된 가치관이나 유혹에 넘어가지 않기 위해 물을 거슬러 오르듯 생명의 길을 기꺼이 감당하는 삶입니다. 아멘

This is a passage I know so well that I sometimes just skim over it, or when I meditate on it, I struggle to find direction and let it pass. But God always holds onto me, not letting me miss it.
A message I heard fleetingly from the revival speaker on Sunday clearly illuminated today's passage.
"Faith is not about being in the middle, but about the center." This means that to avoid leaning to the left or right, we shouldn't be in an ambiguous, middle state, but rather live a life with God at our center.
A life with God at the center is one where we courageously challenge ourselves by faith to live according to His word. When we fail, we pray with patience; we may waver, but we don't fall. It's a life where we willingly walk the path of life, like salmon swimming upstream, to avoid succumbing to wrong values or temptations. Amen.
