[갈라디아서 3:13] "알람과 스위치"
그리스도께서 우리를 위하여 저주를 받은 바 되사 율법의 저주에서 우리를 속량하셨으니 기록된 바 나무에 달린 자마다 저주 아래에 있는 자라 하였음이라

율법은 우리의 죄를 드러내는 역할과 하나님께 나아가야 함을 일깨워줍니다. 또한 율법은 하나님의 거룩한 기준을 드러내지만, 죄인인 우리는 그 기준을 완전히 지킬 수 없습니다. 그래서 사탄은 율법을 통해 정죄하고 계속 넘어뜨려 사망에 이르게 하기에 '저주에 빠졌다'라고 할 수 있습니다.

"저주를 받은 바 되사"라는 표현 속에 예수 그리스도이 십자가에 달리심은 반복되는 죄의 사슬같은 저주를 끈어내신 것과 믿는 자들을 정죄의 늪에서 해방시키신 것을 드러냅니다. 우리는 더 이상 율법 아래서 두려워하며 살지말아야 합니다. 실수하고 넘어질 때라도 정죄감에 사로잡히기보다, 십자가로 나아와 그리스도의 대속을 기억해야 합니다.

죄를 반복하고, 자신과 타인의 정죄함으로 무력케 된다면 이를 멈추게하는 "알람"과 "스위치"가 필요합니다. 말씀과 기도는 하나님께 돌아가야하는 "알람" 입니다. 또한 이를 무시할 때 멈추게하는 "스위치"가 필요 합니다. 개인적인 생각이지만 하나님은 우리 각자에게 "스위치"는 만들어 놓으셨다는 생각을 합니다. 누군가에겐 '건강'이란 스위치를 누군가에겐 '인간관계' 또는 '물질' 등과 같은 스위치를 통해 더 이상 죄에 다가가거나 머무르지 못하도록 하신 것이 아닐까! 생각해봤습니다.

주님, 십자가에서 저주를 대신 받으심으로 저희를 율법 아래 있지 않게 하심에 감사합니다. 저희에게 알람과 스위치를 주셔서 죄에 사로잡히지 않게 하시고, 예수 그리스도 안에서 죄사함의 은혜를 감사하며 살게 하소서. 매일 은혜로 하루를 시작하며, 다른 이들에게도 축복과 위로의 말을 전하는 자녀 되게 하소서. 아멘

'몸살'은 쓰러질 수 있으니 강제로 쉬게하는 '스위치'이다. 요즘 아슬아슬라게 'Off-line'근처에 있지만 이 경계에서 하나님의 붙드심을 경험한다.

​Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” (NIV)

​The Law serves to reveal our sins and remind us of our need to approach God. While the Law reflects God’s holy standards, as sinners, we are unable to keep them perfectly. Therefore, Satan uses the Law to condemn us and cause us to stumble toward death, which can be described as being "trapped under a curse."

​The phrase "becoming a curse" highlights that Jesus Christ’s crucifixion broke the repetitive cycle of the curse of sin and liberated believers from the swamp of condemnation. We must no longer live in fear under the Law. Even when we make mistakes and fall, rather than being seized by guilt, we must come to the Cross and remember Christ’s atonement.

​If we repeat sin and become powerless through self-condemnation or the judgment of others, we need an "Alarm" and a "Switch" to stop it. The Word and prayer act as the "Alarm" that calls us back to God. We also need a "Switch" to stop us when we ignore that alarm. Personally, I believe God has placed a "Switch" within each of us. For some, it may be 'health'; for others, it could be 'relationships' or 'finances.' These switches may be God's way of preventing us from approaching or remaining in sin any longer.

​Lord, thank You for taking the curse upon Yourself on the Cross so that we are no longer under the Law. Grant us the alarms and switches necessary to keep us from being ensnared by sin, and let us live in gratitude for the grace of forgiveness in Jesus Christ. May we begin each day with Your grace and become children who speak words of blessing and comfort to others. Amen.
