[잠언 1:7]"잠언을 시작하며"
여호와를 경외하는 것이 지식의 근본이거늘 미련한 자는 지혜와 훈계를 멸시하느니라

잠언은 하나님을 경외하는 것과 삶의 지혜와 도덕 그리고 어리석음의 위험성, 절제 등을 "가르치며 교훈하는 시" 입니다.

잠언은 짧고 간결한 문장과 대비되는 상황을 사용하여 도덕적, 윤리적 원칙을 가르치며 가족과 인생 그리고 말과 돈, 인간관계 등에 대하여 교훈허고 있습니다.

잠언을 통해 우리의 삶에서 진정한 지혜와 올바른 판단이 "하나님과의 올바른 관계"에서 나온다는 고백에 이르기를 기도하며 시작합니다.
