[잠언 3:27]"선을 베풀때에"
네 손이 선을 베풀 힘이 있거든 마땅히 받을 자에게 베풀기를 아끼지 말며

내가 가진 것으로 선을 베풀고 나누는 행위는 귀하고 복되며 하나님이 기뻐하십니다.

선을 행할 때에 주의 할 것이 있는데, 선을 행할 때를 놓치지 말것과, 신중히 대상을 정하여야 할 것과 인색하지 말것을 당부하고 있습니다.

물질을 가진 자는 물질로, 재능을 가진 자는 재능으로, 시간이 있는 자는 성실함으로 해야 하기에 마음과 몸과 시간과 정성이 필요합니다.

주께서 주신 것을 내 것이라 하기 전 나누며 선을 행하는 것은, 하나님의 주되심과 우리가 그의 청지기 됨을 고백하는 '믿음의 고백'에 이릅니다. 아멘

Proverbs 3:27 - "When it is in your power to do good"
Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.

The act of doing good and sharing what we have is precious, blessed, and pleasing to God.

When doing good, there are things to be mindful of: do not miss the opportunity to do good, carefully choose the recipient, and do not be stingy.

Those who have material possessions should give with their wealth; those with talents should give with their abilities; and those with time should give diligently. This requires one's heart, body, time, and devotion.

Sharing and doing good with what the Lord has given, rather than claiming it as our own, leads to a 'confession of faith' that acknowledges God's sovereignty and our stewardship. Amen.
